Jeffrey S. Williams

President and CEO

Mr. Williams joined Accuri as its President and CEO in January 2010. Most recently, he had been President and CEO of HandyLab, Inc., Ann Arbor-based clinical diagnostic company. At HandyLab, Mr. Williams led the growth and venture financing of the company, ultimately resulting in a sale to Becton, Dickinson & Company for $275 million in November 2009. He was previously President and CEO of Genomic Solutions Inc., an Ann Arbor-based life science products company he co-founded in 1997. Mr. Williams led Genomic Solutions through a period of rapid growth culminating in an IPO on NASDAQ in 2000 and merger with Harvard Biosciences, Inc. in late 2002. After the merger, he remained with Genomic Solutions as its President and joined the Harvard Biosciences Board of Directors. Prior to Genomic Solutions, Mr. Williams held various executive and management level positions in several bioscience companies, including IRIS and Boehringer Mannheim. He received a BS in Biology (summa cum laude) from Alma College and an MBA with High Distinction from The University of Michigan.

Jack T. Ball

Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Ball has a long and proven record for bringing life science products to market and capitalizing on existing product potential. Most recently he was CEO of Amnis Corporation, a venture backed technology start-up developing high-end imaging flow cytometers. He has also served as CCO for Molecular Probes, Inc., the world leader in reagents for cell analysis, including flow cytometry consumables. Prior to that he was with Orchid Biosciences as Sr. VP and General Manager with Amersham Pharmacia Biotech Inc., where he rose to President, Region North America and was responsible for sales, marketing, and customer support for all products sold in North America.

Steve Chipchase

Chief Operations Officer

With over 25 years of leadership, operations and business experience, Mr. Chipchase has a solid track record of improving global operations, positioning manufacturing as a competitive advantage and leading change through diverse business conditions. Most recently he was VP Operations for Keithley Instruments, Inc where his lean manufacturing and continuing improvement processes led to industry-leading operational performance. Mr. Chipchase holds a BS in Business Administration from Malone College and a MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

John Dahler

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Dahler has 25 years of finance, international and operational management experience in biotechnology, manufacturing, and service environments (Asuragen, Ambion, Promega, Fiskars, Pillsbury/Grand Metropolitan). Mr. Dahler is a CPA, CMA with senior auditing experience at KPMG. Mr. Dahler holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin.

Collin Rich, PhD

Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Rich has a broad technical background including MEMS, semiconductor fabrication processes, embedded microcontrollers, display technologies, electromagnetics, semiconductor theory, digital signal processing, power electronics, control theory, fluidics, and thermodynamics. He is a skilled systems integrator and prolific inventor, he also has substantial experience building and managing teams to develop innovative technologies. Dr. Rich earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/MEMS under acclaimed professor Prof. Ken Wise at the University of Michigan. He is the author of five issued US patents and 15+ applications.
