BD Accuri C6 Flow Cytometry Course
Designed for scientists new to either flow cytometry or the BD Accuri C6 flow cytometry system, the BD Accuri C6 Flow Cytometry Course curriculum includes lectures and hands-on workshops on general flow cytometry principles and topics, with special emphasis on operation of the BD Accuri C6.

BD Accuri C6 Flow Cytometry Course Outline
Day 1
• BD Accuri C6 C6 components: fluidics, optics, electronics
• Instrument QC and QA
• Workshop: BD Accuri C6 performance validation, maintenance and trouble-shooting
• Basics of cell analysis - Setting thresholds and using Zoom, light scatter and fluorescence: gating strategies (lecture and workshop)
Day 2
• Fluorescence compensation: lecture and workshop
• Experimental design of flow cytometric assays
• Common applications
• Workshop: Hands-on experience using the BD Accuri C6 for immunophenotyping and viability
Day 3
• Workshop: Data analysis of Day 2 applications using BD CFlow software
• Basic statistics for flow cytometry lecture
• Using the BD Accuri C6 for specific applications. Choice of two applications (Advanced immunophenotyping: 4-colors plus viability, DNA-cell cycle analysis, cell counting with the BD Accuri C6, fluorescent protein analysis using optional filters, apoptosis or fluorescence compensation redux)
