BD Accuri C6 Maintenance
To ensure optimal BD Accuri C6 performance you just need to follow a few simple rules.
Keep your BD Accuri C6 Clean
Follow the Startup and Shut Down procedures outlined in the Instrument Manual to keep the SIP and flow cell clean and the fluidics system free of air bubbles.
Leave a tube containing 2 mL filtered, deionized H2O on the SIP in between uses.
Every 2 months replace sheath bottle filter,decontamination and cleaning solution bottle filters, in-line sheath filter and peristaltic pump tubing.
Filters and tubing can be purchased separately or in convenient maintenance kits.
Keep your BD Accuri C6 Validated
Run the 6- and 8-Peak Validation Beads at the start of each day the BD Accuri C6 will be used. If volumetric or absolute cell counts are required, it is important that the system is accurately measuring the volume aspirated from each sample.
The peristaltic pump tubing should be replaced every 2 months.
Ensure that the SIP and flow cell are clean, and the fluidics lines are free of air bubbles.
Validate volume measurement using a counting bead product.
Follow the Startup and Shut Down Procedures in the Instrument Manual
Attend to bottle fluid levels.
Start each run with a Backflush.
Run Cleaning Solution through the BD Accuri C6 after the last sample is run to ensure cells or other particles are not left in the SIP.
