To get the most out of the C6 Flow Cytometer® we created CFlow, software that is easy to learn and easy to use. However, we did not trade power for simplicity. Instead we paid careful attention to the needs of researchers like you and worked diligently to meet those needs in an elegant way.
We partnered with Menlo Innovations, experts in developing user-friendly software, and spared no effort to ensure that CFlow makes sense to researchers who use it, not just the software developers who built it. We were joined by many scientists who volunteered to test drive our software designs during the development process. The result is software that is equally accessible to cytometry experts and to researchers trying flow cytometry for the first time.
And now you can supplement your CFlow data analysis with the extended capabilities of FCS Express. We teamed up with De Novo Software to create the customized Accuri CFlow Importer for seamless integration of CFlow files into FCS Express, an industry-leading flow cytometry data analysis software package. FCS Express extends the data analysis and presentation capabilities of CFlow to include color dot plots, a wide range of statistics, including percentiles and robust CV's, custom reporting, easy data importation into PowerPoint, Excel and Word, vector scaleable images, batch processing and more.

Tabs for collection, analysis and statistics
The tabbed approach to access functions such as Collect, Analyze and Statistics, makes user software options and instrument controls clearly visible on screen, not hidden under layers of menus. In fact, most current flow cytometer users are able to collect and analyze data in less than 30 minutes. Even novice users quickly learn CFlow with a simple quick-start guide.
Collect Tab
Use the Collect tab to collect or import samples, configure the run settings and to set up plots.
- Collect up to 96 samples in a single grid
- View C6 status, run criteria, fluidics settings, threshold and compensation
- Display density and dot plots, histograms and statistics

Statistics Tab
Use the Statistics tab to display statistics for some or all of your collected samples.

Six decades of dynamic range
The most common error made when collecting flow cytometric data is the incorrect setting of gain or voltage. This often results in the loss of data from valuable, perhaps irreplaceable, samples. The C6 eliminates this error by collecting six decades of dynamic range, all the time, instead of the traditional four. Eliminating the need to set gain or voltage reduces the consumption of valuable samples during set-up.
Use the CFlow Zoom Tool to take advantage of the six decades of dynamic range
Data always remain in the data file even when you use the CFlow Zoom function to view plots at a high level of channel detail.
- Use Zoom, instead of voltage adjustments, to set the channel range viewed.
- Use Zoom for better resolution of populations and to aid in gating.
Digital signal processing, compensation at any time
The combination of digital data collection and six decade s of dynamic range provides unrivaled flexibility in your data analysis. Gating strategies and fluorescence compensation values can be set during, or after, data collection. New users can collect data using a simple pre-set template, and the data can be analyzed later with more expert help. Data collected on a C6 Flow Cytometer can be re-analyzed at any time if gating or compensation errors are discovered, or in light of new research findings.
Drag and drop plots
With CFlow software you can drag and drop plots into MS Office applications, copy and paste statistics into spreadsheets, making data reporting easy.
Exports files in FCS 3.0 format
Files can also be exported in FCS 3.0 format for seamless importation of your data into most third-party flow cytometry software programs including FCS Express and FlowJo.

With the FCS Express Accuri CFlow Importer you can enhance the capabilities of CFlow with the data analysis and presentation capabilities of FCS Express, including color dot plots, twenty different statistics, including percentiles and robust CV's, easy data importation into PowerPoint, batch processing and more.
