Accuri is building a full line of flow cytometry kits to support a wide variety of applications.
Accuri's Cell Cycle Phase Determination Kit provides a convenient tool for studying the induction and inhibition of cell cycle progression in any cell suspension sample. The assay involves the fixation and permeabilization of the cells of interest, making possible the staining of DNA within intact cells by propidium iodide. This kit will allow you to determine the percentage of cells in a given sample that are in G0/G1, G2, or S phase at the time of fixation, as well as to quantify cells in the sub-G1 phase prior to apoptosis.Review representative slide. The Apoptotic Blebs Assay Kit employs a recombinant protein containing single-chain variable fragments (scFv) of D56R fused to the protein A domain B fraction as an antibody for apoptotic blebs. The protein A portion of this fusion protein is recognized and visualized by fluorescein-conjugated rabbit IgG. Propidium iodide is included in the kit for detection of dead cells, through either a necrotic or apoptotic pathway. The kit is easy to use and can be easily adapted to high throughput screening for therapeutic compounds regulating apoptosis. Review representative slide. (0.09 MB)
The JC-1 Mitochondrial Membrane Potential Assay Kit can be used to study the behavior of mitochondria in a variety of conditions, including apoptosis. The main advantage of this assay is that the changes in ΔΨm reflected by different forms of JC-1 as either green or red fluorescence can be both qualified and quantified by fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, or a fluorescence plate reader with appropriate filter sets. The 7-AAD Cell Viability Kit provides a convenient tool for assessing the impact of drugs or environmental toxins within your experimental system. Combine it with the ability of the C6 to provide cell counts for a convenient, all-in-one process for determining both the number and health of your cell cultures.
The 7-AAD/CFSE Cell-Mediated Cytotoxicity Assay Kit provides a convenient research tool to quantify the cytotoxic response of immune effector cells against target cells in vitro. The kit utilizes the green fluorescent molecules 5-(6)-carboxyfluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester (CFSE) to label the target cell population, and 7-amino-actinomycin D (7-AAD) to label and differentiate between dead or viable target cells. These two molecules distinguish four populations of cells and provide a sensitive and consistent platform for researching cell-mediated cytotoxicity.
